NO-GI CLASS PROGRAM SCHEDULE

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This type of training involves the ability to handle standup aggression and to defend oneself from a physical attack on the ground or from a weapon such as a knife, gun or club. Self-defense addresses the most realistic attacks that occur on the street. Students are taught how to control the situation before the attack happens. Students are highly encouraged to wear rashguards and MMA shorts (visit our online store to purchase). If you are wearing something other than the recommended gear, be sure tops and bottoms have no zippers, pockets, or buttons that could damage the mats or potentially injure students. 

BELT RANK

  • All belt levels and those with no previous martial arts experience are welcome

PROGRAM GOALS

  • Understand the techniques and strategies of self-defense

  • Defend yourself in a street altercation should it arise

CURRICULUM INCLUDES

  • Street defensive techniques, attacks, and escapes from all positions

  • Drilling, specific training, and sparring

  • Central concepts street self-defense
