Kid's/Teen's Jiu-Jitsu

Jiu-Jitsu aids in body development such as balance and motor skills through Jiu-Jitsu related drills and games. Kids will learn confidence, self-esteem, discipline, respect, motor skills, social skills, self-defense, strength, and mobility.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
Kid's 3-6 Years
This program is designed to introduce Jiu-Jitsu to the youngest students while developing coordination and agility. Classes consist of drills and games that teach basic Jiu-Jitsu movement and beginner techniques to build a strong foundation and understanding of the art of Jiu-Jitsu in a fun and enjoyable manner.

Kid's 7-11 Years
This program will build a strong foundation of Jiu-Jitsu concepts for your child as well as improving coordination, agility, and body awareness. Students learn Jiu-Jitsu positions and techniques at a beginner and fundamental level, as well as an introduction to more advanced Jiu-Jitsu. At this age, students will learn in more detail what the core values and concepts of Jiu-Jitsu are.

Kid's Competition Class (Advanced)
This program is focus on reviewing fundamental Jiu-Jitsu techniques and primarily on advanced Jiu-Jitsu concepts in order to succeed in competition. Students will learn positions in more detail and work towards creating a more balanced and complete Jiu-Jitsu game. Please note: this class requires instructor approval.

Teen's 12-16 Years
This program focuses on the techniques, transitions, and positions that every Jiu-Jitsu practitioner should know. Students will improve their knowledge of the art of Jiu-Jitsu, body movements, and receive an introduction to more advanced Jiu-Jitsu techniques. Students are encouraged to ask questions to improve their understanding of positions and techniques.
